What happens in a free PT consultation (Sheffield)
What happens in a free PT consultation?
If “book a free consultation” still feels a bit vague - what do we even talk about? Do I need a plan ready? This is for you.
I’m Adam at Byrd Strong. I coach beginners and returners in a private gym just off Ecclesall Road, Sheffield, and online if you already train elsewhere.
Last week I wrote about the three ways to work with me. This post is only about the free consultation - the chat before you pick anything.
Who the free consult is for
It’s for you if any of this sounds familiar:
You’re new to the gym (or feel like you are).
You’re coming back after a break, injury, or life getting loud.
You’re already training but stuck, bored, or unsure what to change.
You’re not sure whether in-person or online makes sense for you.
You want a clear next step - or permission to leave it for now.
What we actually talk about
It’s a conversation, not a test. Roughly, we’ll cover:
Where you are now - training history (if applicable), what’s been hard, what’s already working.
Your week - work, sleep, family, how much time you really have. Not the ideal week. The real one.
What you want - feel stronger, move better, eat a bit more steadily, stop guessing in the gym. We keep it practical.
What coaching with me looks like - enough so you can picture it, without a full package pitch.
What you leave with
By the end you should know:
Whether working together feels like a fit (for both of us).
Which option - if any - matches your week and budget.
A free taster session booked in if in-person training sounds right for you.
How to book
Book here: free consultation / contact on www.byrdstrong.com
Or message @byrd.strong / call or text +44 7481 477728.
Soft note on the three options
If we do decide something fits after the chat, the menu is simple: in-person from £47.50 a session, online at £150 a month, or to build momentum fast Strong Start is £540 for 12 sessions (3× a week for 4 weeks). Full breakdown is on the site and in last week’s post. The consult is where we work out whether any of that is right for you.
