Everyone’s An Athlete

Athletes ultimately train to be stronger, to move better, endure more, produce more force, be more resilient and to do so in an efficient, ideally sustainable way. That sounds pretty good to me!

Any kind of athletic training can be scaled in some way for pretty much everyone. In training clients from all walks of life in this way, I consistently see people surprise themselves with what they’re able to achieve - whether lifting weights they’d never even remotely considered (potentially not having considered ever lifting weights at all), being able to chase around their kids or grand kids all day, becoming avid runners or simply becoming more coordinated, capable and confident.

Some combination of lifting heavy, jumping, throwing, building a big gas tank and anything else an athlete might do is super valuable for anyone - regardless of their age, background, injury history or anything else! These things dictate the starting point, not the destination.

Everyone’s an athlete - the demands we face just look a little bit different.
